Classes for 6 to 8 year olds

The Voyagers welcome students, between 6 and 8 years old, to join their crew on a quest of learning. You may enroll your student in one or both of these classes. Through the semester we navigate theme-based content covering many cross-curricular subject areas including Science, Social Studies, English Language Arts, Math, as well as many forms of Art. We traverse hands-on and project based learning while working with peers, solving problems all while growing and developing positive character.
Fall 2025 Class Offerings
Beyond the Book: An A to Z Mystery Adventure
Get ready as we dive into the first 15 books of the A-Z Mysteries series! Students will join Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose to solve mysterious cases, all while engaging in a fun mix of reading, science, social studies, and creative activities. Each week, we’ll explore a new mystery, uncovering clues and following leads as we build critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. From science experiments and geographical discoveries to creative writing and art projects, this class is packed with exciting lessons that bring each mystery to life.
Class Days: Mondays or Tuesdays
Class Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Duration: 15 weeks

Building a Civilization: Groundwork to Government
Students will embark on an exciting journey to explore the foundations of citizenship, government, and the essential building blocks of society! Through interactive activities, teamwork, and hands-on projects, students will design their own civilizations, learning how communities work together to create rules, make decisions, and solve problems. From understanding the importance of laws and leaders to creating their own governments, this class is a fun and engaging way for kids to develop an appreciation for their role as future citizens in the world.
Class Days: Wednesdays or Thursdays
